Brief Description:  Right wing fuel tank #5

Last night I went back into the workshop, mixed a batch of proseal and flayed the rib, slipped it into place and 100% clecoed it. Took about an hour total.

Tonight, I rivited the rib I prosealed 2 nights ago. I enclosed a couple of pictures showing the actual toothpick method of adding the proseal after the dimple has been completely cleaned. After bucking, you should get a nice little splatter over the rivet head. A quick wipe cleans up the mess and then onto the next dimple.

The plans call for starting the riviting at the leading edge. I just bucked the most rear rivet first, then moved forward to the leading edge and made my way back to the aft.

Tomorrow night, I'll rivet the 5th rib and move onto the final preparations for the inboard and outboard ribs. It's going to be nice squeezing those. I'm running low on proseal, so I'll need to order another batch from Vans.
